PRINT DESIGN
Whoever uttered the phrase “print is dead” obviously didn’t consider all of the avenues and applications that print design can be applied to. Clearly publication design encompassing magazines, brochures, and the like has been around for awhile, and remains very relevant today, but simply pigeonholing print design into that niche is severely closed-minded.
The longer I have worked in print the more I have seen that a strong message can truly be conveyed just about anywhere. I have personally designed on canvases as small as a standard business card all the way up to a conference room wall graphic over 30 foot in length – and everything in between.
If you factor in the staying power of a “moving billboard”, be that a cleverly designed branded t-shirt, an eye-catching vehicle wrap, or “swag” for the next tradeshow, print design is as relevant and important in today’s digital world as ever. I have been so fortunate to have managed print designs that run the gamut of the physical space and am excited for the projects – and spaces – that lie ahead.

EDUCATING AND INFORMING OUR BUSINESS PARTNERS.
My parents' farm is a large, forward-thinking enterprise with a desire to maximize crop potential in what are often very difficult circumstances. It is this vein of communication and transparency that our quarterly newsletter was born. In each issue, we aim to talk about matters that are relevant to not only farming, but life in general. The end goal is to give both the intimately informed business partner as well as the absentee landowner a glimpse of a "day in the life" of the farming operation that they are a part of.

DESIGNING IN-HOUSE AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
As a multi-faceted, cross-platform designer, I have been exposed to a lot of variety in my time with Crete Carrier. On any given week, my project list might include a multi-page informational booklet, a recruiting brochure, a "save the date" event flyer, a t-shirt design, or a large-format vinyl signage set for one of our 20 terminals nationwide. Here is a brief sample of some of the print projects that have come across my desk.
